Publishing your website with Dreamweaver

When it comes to publishing content to my web address, one of the most efficient tools I use is Dreamweaver. It's a local FTP program that allows you to make changes to your website. You can create, edit and publish content to your web address using Dreamweaver.

What you can do with Dreamweaver
- It is a website software used for creating websites
- It allows you to login to your web hosting account to upload and download files
- To delete files
- To download your web files for backup

How to connect Dreamweaver to your website
- First go to Files panel on the right and click on manage sites
- Select New>Site and then create your site with the name
- Enter the name under site name and also the url
- Go to Remote info and enter the details under FTP which your host provides for connecting via FTP
- Test that your login is working by clicking on the test button after entering username, password and root directory
- Enter other required details

Now you can connect to your website without actually logging in on a web browser as it allows you to connect via FTP.
